Kabuli Chana ragada Pani Puri


Ingredients:
Kabuli chana : Soaked and boiled 1 cup
Oil : 1 tblspn
Mustard seeds : 1 tspn
Jeera / Cumin seeds : 1 tspn
Chopped onions : 1 tblspn
Turmeric powder / Haldi : 1 tspn
Tomato puree : 2 tblspn
Mashed potato : 1 tblpsn
Salt : As per taste
Red chilly powder : 1 to 2 tspn
Chat masala : 1 tspn
Dry mango powder : 1/2 tspn
Jeera powder / cumin powder : 1 tspn
Dhani powder/coriander seed powder : 1 tspn
Coriander leaves : Few chopped.

Method:

  • Take a pan and heat oil in it on medium flame.
  • Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and let it splutter.
  • Add onions and fry them till translucent.

  • Now add turmeric and saute.
  • After 2 mins add tomato puree and let it cook on low flame for 2 to 3 mins
  • Now kabuli chana, mashed potato, jeera/cumin powder, salt, red chilly powder, dhania/coriander seed powder, dry mango powder and saute.

  • Add 200ml of water and let it cook on medium flame for up to 5 mins.

  • Now turn of the flame and add chat masala.
  • Serve it as a filling for pani puri.
