Mango and white chocolate Panna Cotta

Panna cotta is an Italian dessert of sweetened cream thickened with gelatin or agar agar and molded. Here in my kitchen I made a twist with union with white chocolate and mango with desi cardamom flavor.

Check this recipe out.

White chocolate : 50 gms
Fresh cream : 1/2 cup

Water : 1/2 cup + 1/2 cup
Agar Agar : 6 gms
Cardamom powder : 1/4 tspn

Method :

  • Blend mango puree with little water, cardamom powder and sugar. Keep this aside.

  • In a deep bottom pan, add fresh cream. Place this pan on low flame and stir.
  • Once you see small bubbles on cream add white chocolate.
  • Let is sit for 30 to 40 secs and stir until white chocolate completely melts. Keep this aside.

  • Soak 3 gms of agar agar in 1/2 cup of water for 5 mins
  • Now place a pan on medium flame, add water and agar agar.
  • Let agar agar melt completely.

  • Add agar agar mixture to white chocolate and cream.
  • Combine them and pour this mixture into a glass or serving bowl. Let it set at room temperature and then place this bowl in a fridge. Let it chill for a while.
