Being a foodie, I extremely love street food. Having a sweet tooth, I adore chocolates and ice - cream.
I always wonder if i can ever incorporate 2 of my favorite things in one dish. So I finally gave a twist of taste to pani puri, chocolate, ice-cream and of course to Italian seasoning.
So here is the recipe for unexpected and out of the world flavorful pani puri.
Ingredients:
Chocolate puri
Firm small puris : Few
Chocolate ganache : 1/2 cup
Ice cream : couple of tspns.
Fruit chat puri
Firm puris : Few
Honey : 2 tspn
Chocolate sprinkles : 1 tspn
Fruit chat : 2 tspn
Pizza puri
Sweet corn : 1/2 cup boiled.
Capsicum : 1/2 cup
Onions : 1/4th cup
oil : 1 tspn
Italian Seasoning : 1 tspn
Mozzarella cheese : 2 tspns (Optional)
Method :
Chocolate puri
- Make a small hole on one side of puri.
- Pour chocolate ganache inside.
- Roll chocolate ganache inside puri and remove excess chocolate ganache back to the bowl
- Place puri in fridge.
- Remove puri from fridge just 3 to 4 mins before serving.
- Top it up with ice cream just 1 min before serving so that ice-cream wont melt immediately.
Fruit chat puri
- Make a small hole on one side of puri.
- Stuff puri with fruit chat.
- Pour honey on outer layer of puri
- Sprinkle some chocolate sprinkles over honey and pop it into your fridge.
- Take out of fridge just 2 mins before serving.
Pizza puri
- Place a pan on medium flame and add oil.
- Once oil is heated add onions and capsicum.
- Once onions are translucent add boiled sweetcorn and add salt and pepper as your taste.
- Now add Italian seasoning.
- Saute for 3 to 4 mins and turn off the heat.
- Make sure there is no water or moisture left over in pan.
- Bring it to room temperature.
- Now make a small hole on one side of puri and add mixed veggies and mozzarella cheese.
- If you would like to melt the cheese, your puri may turn soggy.
- If you like your puris to be firm, then do not melt cheese.
Here we go with 3 different types of variations in paai puri. Try it and enjoy twist of delicacy.
