Hot chocolate Fudge / Aweful aweful

It is called hot chocolate fudge in many ice cream stores like celebrations and creamstone and aweful aweful in ohris eat more in hyderabad. What ever the name of the this ice cream it tastes so heavenly.

So I tried to make a replica of Aweful aweful / Hot chocolate fudge with my choice of ingredients.

All you need is 100gms of condensed milk, dark cooking chocolate bars 50 gms or dark cooking chocolate powder, few dry roasted or deep fried salted cashews and 2 to 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream. I used naturals Malai ice cream to boost up the flavor of hot chocolate fudge.

Method:


  1. In bowl add cooking chocolate bar and pop it in to micro wave for 40 secs. 
  2. Now pour in condensed milk and put it back in to micro wave for 30 secs.
  3. Take a ladle and beat the mixture until you find thick consistency. 
  4. If the consistency is too thick to stir add 1/2 spoon of melted butter or full fat milk or fresh cream and beat it.
  5. You must get thick sticky pouring consistency. This is our chocolate fudge
  6. Now take a shot glass or a glass bowl.
  7. Pour chocolate fudge on bottom of the glass or bowl and on the walls of the glass and bowl.
  8. Add few cashews on the bottom as a layer.
  9. Now add one scoop of ice cream and chocolate fudge and cashews above the ice cream.
  10. Then add one more scoop of ice cream and chocolate fudge and cashews above ice cream.
  11. Repeat this process until your bowl is full or your shot glass is full.
Serve it immediately. 
The reason why i used naturals malai ice cream is, my mom used to make it during summers when i was a kid. Natural malai ice cream has got same flavor. No chemicals or geletin to mixed in natural ice cream. Although it melts soon the taste sticks into your mouth for longer time.
