Stir fried Idly

Lets make boring idlis into crunchy and spicy dish.

Ingredients:
Idly - 4 to 5
Garlic pods crushed : 3 to 4
Cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp
Turmeric: 1 tsp
Mustard seeds: 1/4 tsp
Tomato: 1 sliced or cubed.
Onion: 1/2 finely chopped
Curry leaves : Few nos as
Salt :  As per your taste.
Red chilly powder : As per your taste.
Dry mango powder: 1/4 tsp
Cumin and Methi seed powder: 1/4 tsp
Black salt : 1/4 tsp
carrot: 1/4 of medium sized carrot sliced.
Green Chillies : 3 to 4 cut into two halves
Coriander leaves : 1/4 cup
Chena dal and urad dal : 1/2 spoon for tampering.

Method:

- Cut idlies into small cubes.
- Now put a pan on medium flame,  add cow ghee to a pan and add Cummin seeds, mustard seeds, chena dal, urad dal, onions, green chillies and turmeric. Saute for couple of minutes.
- Now add Carrot, tomato and salt and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add chilly powder and saute.
- Let the veggies cook on medium flame for 3 to 4 mins on low flame. You can add very little amount of water if veggies are sticking to the bottom of the pan.
- Now add Cumin and methi seed powder, dry mango powder, coriander seed powder.
- Now add cubed idlies.
- Now add black salt and toss idlies. Let is cook for couple of minutes on medium flame.
- Add coriander leaves and switch of the flame.
- Serve it hot with a dash of lime.

Note: You can also add 1 tsp of tomato sauce while sauteing veggies.
