Soya stuffed kababs
Aloo : 500 gms( boiled, peeled
and mashed)
Soya chunks : ½ cup
Salt : As per your taste.
Red chilly powder : 2 to 3 tsps
Garam masala : 1/2 tspn
Coriander seed powder : ¼ tspn
Cumin seed powder : ¼ tspn
Chopped onions : 1 tblspn
Chat masala : 1 tspn
Onions seed powder : 1/4 tspn
Corn flakes : ½ cup
Maida : 1 tbslpn
Water : 3 to 4 tblspn
Oil : Enough to shallow fry
Turmeric powder : 1/2 tspn
Ginger garlic paste : 1/2 tspn
Method :

Take a bowl, add mashed potatoes, salt, 1.5 tspn
of red chily powder, ¼ tspn of turmeric, ¼ tspn of garam masala powder and mix
well.

Rest aloo mixture in refrigerator for half an
hour.
·
Mean while, soak soya chunks with warm water.
·
Now take a pan, add oil.
·
Add cumin seeds and let it splutter
·
Now add turmeric and ginger garlic paste. Mix
well.
·
Now add soaked soya chunks (Remove all water
from soya chunks)
·
Saute for a while, then add salt, chilly powder,
garam masala and coriander seed powder.
·
Mix all the ingredients, closed the lid and let
it cook for 3 to 4 mins on low.
·
Once soya is cooked, turn off the flame and let
soya cools down to room temperature.
·
To make
corn crumbs: Take a blender, and blend corn flakes.
·
To make
maida wash: Take a bowl add maida and water. Mix it with out forming any
lumps. We use maida only to coat kebabs. So maida paste should not be either
too thick or too thin.
·
Take out aloo mixture, rub some oil onto your
palms, take some aloo mixture into your palm and press them into round, disc
with ½ inch thickness.
·
Now add soya mixture in the middle of patty and
close it with its edges and gently shape them as desired.
·
Now dip them in maida wash and later roll them
in corn flakes crumbs.
·
Place them back in refrigerator for about 5
mins.
·
Mean while heat oil in non stick frying pan on
medium flame.
·
Now fry patties on medium flame on both the
sides until they turn golden brown.
·
Serve them hot it ketchup or any chutney.
