Eggless Mango Cake

To all mango lovers who would like to experience versatile taste of mango.


Ingredients:

Mango puree: 250 ml (I used Banginapally Mangoes)
Maida / All purpose flour  : 250 gms
Baking soda : 1 tspn
Baking powder : 2 tspn
Condensed milk : 400 gms
Butter : 100 gms
Milk : 100 ml
Sugar : 3 tbspn
Hot Water : 2 tbspn
Mango essence : 1/2 tspn

Method :
  • Pre heat oven at 180 degrees Celsius
  • In a bowl, take melted butter and add condensed milk.


  • Now add sugar, hot water and mango essence and stir well.



  • Now add mango puree and mix.

  • Now take maida / all purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda into a sieve and sift it into a liquid ingredients.

  • Mix all the ingredients slowly and add milk to loosen up the mixture a bit.
  • The consistency should be like as shown in below pic.

  • Pour the batter into a 8 inch cake tin (I used 8 x 8 round cake tin) and bake it for 35 to 40 mins.


  • Once it is baked, take out the tin from oven and let it cool to room temperature for 10 to 15 mins.

  • You can check whether it is baked or not by inserting a tooth pick into middle of the cake. If your tooth pick comes out clean your cake is baked perfectly.
  • Serve it with hot tea or warm milk or just have a slice every time you crave for mango. ;)
