Vanilla essense : 1/4 tspn
Powdered sugar : 3 tbspn

Method :
- Wash apples thoroughly and peel them.
- Cut apples in round shape or in wedges are into any desired shape.
- Now remove the seeds and cut the center part of each slice.
- Sprinkle some lemon juice on apples and set them in fridge for 5 mins. This will make our apple fritters come out crunchier.
- Mean while, take a bowl, place a sieve over the bowl and add maida into it.
- Now add 1/4 tspn of baking powder into the maida and sieve it together.
- Add 1/3rd cup of milk and add enough water to make not so thick and not so thin batter.
- I like my fritters to be crunchy and softy, so i prepared batter little thin but not liquid consistency.
- If you want your apple fritters to be stiff and crispy add less water and prepare a thick batter.
- Now add vanilla essence and mix well.
- Add powdered sugar and corn flour and mix well to break lumps.
- Set it aside for couple of mins.
- Meanwhile place a frying pan on medium flame.
- Add oil and let it heat up to less than smoking point.
- Pour a small drop of batter into pan. If the drop floats back on top of the oil, then oil is ready to deep fry apple fritters.
- Take out apples from the fridge, dip each apple slice and drop them carefully into oil.
