Breakfast shots.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. One who skips their breakfast kills their own appetite.

Those who are willing to maintain a healthy lifestyle and those who are willing to loose weight gradually should try to add more fiber to their every meal moderate level of protein and very less amount of starch.

Being a lazy cook, I always prefer a dish which can be prepared instantly. So I tried preparing breakfast shots. I never compromise my taste buds no matter what kind of dish it may be. So here is a super healthy and tasty breakfast recipe.

Breakfast shots:
Preparation : 5 mins
Serving : 1 person

Ingredients:
Raagi flakes : 1/2 cup
Desi cow dahi (curd) Chilled : 1/4 cup (You can use normal curd if you do not find desi cow dahi)
Honey : 2 to 3 spns or more or less as per your taste.
Roasted nuts : 1 to 2 spoons, I used pine nuts. You can replace pin nuts with any other nuts of your choice
Sliced apple: half apple thinly sliced.
Chocolate chips : 1 spoon
Mango : 1 or 2 slices.

Method:
  1. In bowl, add chilled dahi, ragi flakes and honey. 
  2. Mix well and transfer it to a serving shot glass or a bowl.
  3. Now add sliced apple on top of ragi flakes mixture.
  4. Add one more layer of ragi flakes mixture on top of sliced apples.
  5. Now add roasted nuts of your choice, chocolate chips and mango slices.
  6. Your 5 mins breaksfast is ready.
  7. Do serve it immediately before ragi flakes turn soggy.
This breakfast consists fiber from raagi, protein from dahi and roasted nuts, vitamins from fruits.
In case if you do not find ragi flakes, you can replace ragi flakes with oats.
